I just got a notice from an e-letter I subscribed to. It said: Dear Being. I love it.

I,Morgana, was really shocked at the peridot incident. Are you just going to "let it go"? HA HA HA I just received a reprimand from my "littlest daughter" about telling anyone about her pregnancy before the first trimester was over....so I won't tell her about your blog yet. "Mom is such a blabbermouth" My dog Micky is a rescue dog who was 8 years old when I got her. She is wonderful. I don't think you should wait on refilling your home with animals at all. I was so crushed when my big ol' Dagda died I went out the second day after his death to get my Micky. It was so lonely without him, no dogs at all. Also , when you think of it, every day you wait some poor little animal has that much more time in an undeserved jail. Our poor little sickly Ganesha rat died last week at the early age of 1 1/2 years old. He was the best rat we ever had. He always would run over to us and get in our laps as soon as we sat down in the livingroom.Truely he showed us his love. I can't believe it when I read articles asking if animals have emotions or not. I love your writing. I had alot to catch up on because I don't get to the computer that often. I also am an adoptive mother of the very small feral cat population on this block. I don't know if they do this in New York but here in Sonoma county, there is a program that feeds and traps and fixes and gives shots and then releases the feral cats back to their wild home and then has a volenteer custodian who feeds them once or twice a day and the group "Forgotten Felines" provides you with food for them if you need it. It's pretty wonderful. I am caring for Mr. Man and Tina the last two of a 13 year old population. Just realized I had better not write any more in case I loose it trying to send it. Love you!
